Jefferson Elementary second grader Emma Myers has been selected Student of the Week, for the week of Dec 2.
Daughter of Leigha Janssen and Josh Myers, Emma was nominated by Mrs. Eggersgluess.
“Emma is very kind and thoughtful,” Mrs. Eggersgluess explains.
“She is a wonderful role model for her classmates. She cares about them and is willing to help. Emma is always listening and does things the first time she is asked.”
According to Emma, her favorite subject in school is physical education; “Because I like playing the fun games.”
Emma’s favorite part of school is math; “Because I like learning new things such as multiplication.”
Emma aspires to be a boss some day; “When I grow up I want to be a boss; maybe a principal working with teachers.”
