Kraegenbrink named PRMS October Youth Optimist of the Month

Brooklyn Kraegnbrink has been named Prairie River Middle School’s Youth Optimist of the Month, for the month of October.
Brooklyn was nominated by teacher Mrs. Hazley Bonnell, who said “It is with great pleasure that we nominate Brooklyn Kraegebrink for the October Youth Optimist . Brooklyn’s charismatic personality adds a positive feel to every classroom that she enters and her natural ability to make those around her smile is truly a gift. One of Brooklyn’s biggest strengths is leading by the positive example that she sets. Many of her teachers have commented on her dedication and strong work ethic. Brooklyn can be counted on to follow through with commitments and it is never a guess if she will get the job done well. Keep up the great work, you make us all proud!”
During her time at the middle school, Brooklyn has been involved in student council, Web Leader, Mad Science, Band, Cross Country team and the Track team. Brooklyn has been recognized as PRMS Student of the Quarter, High Academic Honors all three years and silver medalist in the Badger State Games Figure Skating.
Outside of school Brooklyn is involved with coaching ice skating and a basic skills coach for the Merrill Ice Reflections figure skating club.
Daughter of John and Kelly Kraegenbrink of Merrill, Brooklyn’s many talents include receiving the Cross Country team’s “Cheermaster” award as an 8th grader, Pre-Bronze Pattern Dance Figure Skater and Pre-Juvenile Moves in the Field Figure Skater.
