Edward T. Kayhart, age 90, of Merrill, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.
Ed was born May 8, 1929 in Spencer, Wisconsin son of the late Wilbur and Naomi (Dietsche) Kayhart. He married Dorothy Eikelman on October 18, 1958 in Pine City, Minnesota. She preceded him in death on October 12, 2019. Ed had been
employed at KB Body Shop, Merrill for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed watching television, especially old westerns; NASCAR; the Green Bay Packers; and trips to the casino. Ed also enjoyed snacking on ‘sweets’ and chips!

Ed is survived by his daughter, Kathryn (Jon) Kumbera, Wausau; his son, Thomas Kayhart, Merrill; two grandsons, Kyle Kumbera, Mobile, Alabama, and Jared Kumbera, Green Bay; and his sister in law, Helen Meyer, Merrill. Ed is preceded in
death by his parents and wife.

A Private Family Memorial Service will be held. Inurnment will take place in Merrill Memorial Park Columbarium. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com.
