T.B. Scott Free Library presents: “Tech it out at the library”

T.B. Scott Library will host a series of hands-on “Tech-It-Out” workshops related to technology applications and software, beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 6-7:30 p.m.
The evening will begin with an overview of Google. From there, we will jump right into the Gmail application where you will glean great tips on how to make Gmail work best for you. We will take a look at settings and other various add-ons that will make your Gmail experience more successful and personal. Time permitting, we may introduce some of the other productivity applications from Google. For parents of students in the Merrill School District, this will be an opportunity to become more familiar with the applications they are using in the classroom. While Google for Education is slightly different in what it offers, the evening tech session will still allow you to learn the basics to feel more comfortable with the Google environment. This is a hands-on series. If you have a laptop, bring it with you. If you do not have a portable device like a laptop, the library has a few on hand for you to use while attending the session.
