After more than 340,000+ votes were cast, Ana Blair’s Boutique of Merrill was recently named Best Overall and Favorite Storefront Wisconsin 2019 Boutique of the Year by shoppers. 2019 marks the third consecutive year of the store garnering accolades.
The Boutique Awards is the only global recognition event for independent boutique retail owners in the fashion industry, hosted by The Boutique Hub & Boutique.Style. The Awards recognize and celebrate the best boutiques across all 50 States in the US, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, in the categories of Storefront Boutique of the Year, Online Boutique of the Year, Children’s Boutique of the Year, Mobile Boutique of the Year, and State or Country Overall Boutique of the Year.
The awards celebrate retail at a unique time, when many are dubbing a current retail apocalypse, with the closings of mutliple notable big box retailers and mall staples. However industry trends show a strong upswing in the boutique retail market.

“Ana Blair’s Boutique has been a staple of the Merrill community,” Lazarz explains.
“Often supporting or facilitating community events, other local businesses and local non profit organizations. At Ana Blair’s we are trying to create a destination, a reason people can say “we have to stop in Merrill.” The best part is it’s working.
“We recently started Facebook live sales, where people are able to shop with us nationwide and the response has been amazing. Each week we are shipping out to more states.
