The books have been falling into the library like leaves to the ground.
There are piles and piles of books for you to choose from and the Friends of the Library need your help! The library’s ‘Fall into books’ book sale begins Tuesday, October 22, from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. for members of the “Friends of the Library.” It’s easy to renew your Friends’ membership right at the sale. Friends who attend the sale are eligible to register to win a Kindle.
The sale opens to the public Wednesday, October 23, and runs through Friday, October 25. Each day from 9:30 am – 5:00 pm, books for sale will be set out on tables throughout the library, including the café area at the entrance, outside of the Community Room, and the 2nd floor. There will be a large selection of both fiction and non-fiction books available, including CDs and DVDs. Friday, October 25, will be Bag Day.
The Friends of the Library sell books culled from the T.B. Scott Free Library and generous readers who donate used books. The Friends book sale proceeds support library programs and activities. For more information about the sale and book pricing, contact T.B Scott Library at (715) 536-7191.
