August 5
At 11:52 a.m. a caller reported someone had stolen a lawn ornament from his yard.

August 6
At 3:33 p.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

August 7
At 4:43 p.m., an officer responded to a local store for a report of two parties entering into the store at approximately 12 a.m and taking two bottles of alcohol concealed under a sweatshirt. The investigation continues to identify the two parties involved in the theft.

At 4:58 p.m., an officer took a complaint from an individual who believed they were involved in a scam. The party reported to have lost $1,000 due to his involvement in a loan scam. The investigation is ongoing into the loan company and the potential scam.

August 8
At 8:50 a.m., the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole requested officers respond to their office and take an individual into custody for a probation violation. The subject was taken into custody and taken to the jail.

At 2:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of East Main Street and Pine Ridge Avenue for a report of a three vehicle accident. Officers responded and a male subject was cited for inattentive driving based off of the investigation.

At 2:49 p.m., the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole requested officers respond to their office and take an individual into custody for a probation violation. The subject was taken into custody and taken to the jail.

At 3:36 p.m., the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole requested officers respond to their office and take an individual into custody for a probation violation. The subject was taken into custody and taken to the jail.

August 9
At approximately 1:26 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of East Main Street in reference to a vandalism complaint. Officers located Graffiti on one of the business buildings. An ongoing investigation is occurring to identify the possible suspects.

August 10
At approximately 8:01 a.m., officers were dispatched to a disorderly conduct complaint in the 300 block of Grand Avenue. Officers identified a suspect who had vandalized a residence in the area. Officers were called back to the residence twice more throughout the day in reference to the male coming back and vandalizing the residence more. Officers were unable to locate the suspect throughout the evening and charges of disorderly conduct will be referred to the Lincoln County District Attorney’s office in reference this case.

At approximately 10:33 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of East 1st street in reference to a physical altercation. One male suspect was identified and located. The male was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.

August 11
At 12:47 a.m. a caller reported two males fighting in an alleyway. Upon arrival an officer observed one male with a facial injury walking toward a residence. The officer ordered the male to stop and he did not comply but continued into the residence. The officer further observed a vehicle leaving the scene and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was a female and determined to not have been involved in the fight however she was cited for operating after revocation
(4th +offense). Officers went to the residence the male had went into and he was arrested for resisting an officer for failing to comply with the officer’s lawful command to stop.

At 12:38 p.m. a crash was reported on Pine Ridge Avenue. A vehicle had left a business and struck another vehicle in an attempt to exit the parking lot quickly to avoid traffic. The offending driver was cited for failure to yield right of way. A crash report was completed.
