Tomahawk figure skaters compete in State Games of America

July 30 through Aug. 4, eight Tomahawk figure skaters traveled to Lynchburg Virginia, to compete in the State Games of America. The State Games of America is an olympic style event and to qualify for this, participants must have placed first, second or third in Badger State within the last two years.
Participants from Tomahawk include:
Nathan Graeber, who placed second in Pre-Preliminary Boys Jumps and third in No Test Boys.
Aubrey Graeber placed second in No Test Jumps, eighth in Compulsory Moves High Beginner, ninth in Excel High Beginner FreeSkate, 10th in High Beginner Light Entertainment and fourth in Pre-Preliminary Duet.
Dellana Graeber placed ninth in Pre-Preliminary Compulsory, third in Pre-Preliminary Dramatic
Entertainment, sixth in Pre-Preliminary Light Entertainment, fifth in Pre-Preliminary Interpretive, and fourth in Pre-Preliminary Showcase Duet.
Madelyn McCormick placed second in both Preliminary Jumps and Preliminary Compulsory, as well
as first in Pre-Preliminary Spins and fifth in Pre-Preliminary Free Skate.
Ayla McCormick placed first in Pre-Preliminary Jumps, sixth in Pre-Preliminary Compulsory, seventh in No Test Spins, and first in No Test FreeSkate.
Alexis Coffman placed sixth in Beginner Jumps, fifth in Beginner Spins, fourth in Pre-Free Compulsory and first in Pre-Free FreeSkate.
Scarlet McKenzie placed fifthin Pre-Preliminary Jumps, sixth in Excel Pre-Preliminary FreeSkate, sixth in Pre-Preliminary Spins and fifth in Pre-Preliminary Light Entertainment
Kailynn Hanse placed seventh in High Beginner Jumps, fourth in Beginner Compulsory, second in Beginner Spins, and eighth in Excel Beginner FreeSkate.
Overall Tomahawk brought home 11 Medals from Lynchburg, Virgina. 4 Gold, 5 Silver and 2 Bronze.
