On Saturday August 10, the Town of Russell First Responders will host their 2nd Annual Open House, from Noon-6 p.m. at the Gleason Lions Club, N5719 Bradley St. in Gleason.
Planned activities for the day include raffles with a drawing at 5 p.m. a silent auction, 50/50 raffles at 3 and 6 p.m. fire truck and hose spraying activities by the Town of Russell Fire Department, petting zoo, a bounce house and games for the children and a helicopter landing. Other activities include a cow milking contest at 3 p.m. and free blood pressure checks.
Food and drinks will also be on hand.
