July 22
At approximately 3:54 a.m. officers responded to a criminal damage to property complaint in the 400 block of North State Street. Officers were advised a male had broke someone’s vehicle windows with a crow bar before running on foot. The male was located and taken into custody for criminal damage to property.

At approximately 2:15 p.m. officers responded to a fraudulent money complaint in the 700 block of Center Avenue. Officers were advised a male attempted to pass a fake $10 bill and left when questioned by staff about it. Upon the officers arrival they located a fake $10 bill outside of the business on the ground which matched with the one that staff members received from the customer. The suspect was identified and located later on in the day. The male lied to the officer about the incident and was cited for obstructing an officer.

At approximately 3:37 p.m. officers were dispatched to the area of East Second Street and Polk Street in reference to a suspicious male walking down the center of the road. An officer located the male and identified him. The officer was advised the male had an active warrant through Probation and Parole. The male was taken into custody for his active warrant.

At approximately 7:22 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Pier Street to the north of Taylor Street. The male driver was identified and it was discovered he had an active warrant through probation and parole along with not having a driver’s license. An officer observed drug paraphernalia within the vehicle and a search of the vehicle was conducted. The male was taken into custody for a probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for operating without a driver’s license, second offense. The female passenger was identified and drug items were located on her person. The female was taken into custody for two counts of bail jumping along with multiple drug related charges.

At approximately 8:02 p.m. an officer was dispatched to the area of 400 South Park Street in reference to two juvenile males lighting off fireworks. The males were located with fireworks and in possession of tobacco. Both males were cited for possession of tobacco and one of them was also cited for illegal use of fireworks.

July 25
At 12:11 a.m. officers responded to a crash in the 100 block of S Genesee St. Contact was made with a driver that had been operating a vehicle in a reckless manner causing him to leave the roadway and strike a retaining wall. The vehicle was heavily damaged and the operator will be receiving several citations.

At 5:00 a.m. an officer responded to a report of damage to property after the caller found his vehicle had been keyed. Possible suspects were identified and the investigation is ongoing.

At 4:55 p.m. an officer responded to the 600 block of W.4th St for a theft report. It was reported a lawn mower and a moped were taken from a residence. The investigation is ongoing.

At 5:02 p.m. officers responded to 205 N. Prospect St. for a report of a male party threatening to shoot up the house. Officers received limited information from the caller but checked the area and were unable to locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

July 26
At 12:12 a.m., an officer responded to a theft. The caller advised they had two ball hitches for a vehicle stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

At 2:54 p.m., an officer responded to a harassment complaint. The caller advised a male party has been contacting law enforcement to have the caller checked on for no reason. The male suspect has been warned numerous times by the Police Department and the victim to stop calling. The suspect continued to call the police regarding the victim and was cited for harassment.

At 7:27 p.m., officers responded to a disorderly conduct complaint. The caller stated his two juveniles sons were fighting and one pulled a knife on him while he was disciplining the other juvenile. Contact was made with all involved and one of the juveniles is being charged with disorderly conduct while armed and the other is being charged with disorderly conduct and battery.

At 9:05 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving the wrong way on a one way street without their headlamps illuminated during hours of darkness. Contact was made with the driver who displayed signs of intoxication. The driver began jumping into the backseat and then got into the trunk of the vehicle through the backseat. An officer, deputies and a State Trooper assisted with getting the male driver out of the trunk. He was placed under arrest for Operating while Intoxicated 5 th offense, Obstructing, and 8 counts of Bail Jumping. He was also cited for Operating after Suspension.

At 9:38 p.m., officers and deputies responded to a fight in progress. Contact was made with a large group of individuals. After an investigation was completed, two males were arrested for disorderly conduct, one male was summonsed for disorderly conduct, and one male was cited for under age alcohol violation.

July 27
At 2:06 a.m., officers responded to a burglary. The caller stated an intoxicated female came into his home and was sleeping on his couch. Officers made contact with the intoxicated female. The caller only wanted her removed from the residence. The female suspect was found to have an open bond with a sobriety restriction. She was arrested and transported to the jail for bail jumping.

At 8:52 a.m., an officer responded to a fraud complaint. A local business had a counterfeit $20.00 bill passed at their business. Video footage was obtained of the two suspects. Investigation is ongoing.

At 5:28 p.m., an officer responded to a gas skip. The suspect did not pay for $20.00 worth of fuel. Investigation is ongoing.

July 28
At 1:07 p.m., an officer responded to a gas skip. The suspect had not paid for $40.28 worth of fuel. Investigation is ongoing.
