July 5
At 2:30 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling the wrong way on a one way street. The officer made contact and identified the driver. While completing paperwork for the traffic violation, the male driver fled on foot. He was not immediately located by officers. Charges are forthcoming.

At 1:47 p.m., officers responded to the roundabout for a report of a crash with injuries. Upon arrival it was learned a male party on bicycle was struck by a truck. The cyclist was reportedly traveling against traffic in an exit lane. The cyclist sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.

July 6
At 9:08 a.m., an officer responded to a report of property damage at an apartment complex, after someone had left the roadway and struck a retaining wall. The offender’s phone was found on scene and contact was made after she was located. Citations will be issued.

July 8
At 11:01 a.m., an officer responded to a fraud complaint. The caller had fallen victim of a scam and had purchased gift cards which they sent to the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

At 3:27 p.m., an officer responded to a criminal damage to property complaint. The caller stated someone had lit off fireworks inside a park pavilion bathroom. The investigation is ongoing.

July 9
At 2:44 p.m., an officer responded to a shoplifting complaint. The caller advised two male parties had stolen two bottles of alcohol from the business, the previous night. The investigation is ongoing.

At 3:44 p.m., an officer responded to gas skip complaint. The gas station had called about a gas skip that occurred 14 days ago. The store is obtaining the video footage of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.

At 10:13 p.m., a caller reported she had returned home to find someone had entered her apartment while she and her boyfriend had been gone. They located the suspect inside the bathroom of the residence. The man was found to have been inside the apartment attempting to steal coins and other property. He was arrested for burglary and four counts of bail jumping. It was found the man had been released from the jail only hours prior.

July 10
At 11:09 a.m., a business reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill. An Officer responded and determined that the bill was in fact counterfeit.

At 8:25 p.m., an officer responded to a local business for a report of a counterfeit $10 bill. The Officer responded and determined that the bill was in fact counterfeit. This matter is under investigation.

July 11
At 7:43 p.m., officers responded to a report of an estranged husband who came to his in-laws residence to start a fight with his future estranged wife’s boyfriend. The estranged husband displayed a stun gun and activated the device to demonstrate that it worked when confronted by the father of his estranged wife. Once it was discovered the boyfriend was not present the male party left. Officers made contact with the male party at a separate location and he was arrested for disorderly conduct.

July 12
At 7:18 a.m., an officer located a burglary which had occurred at a local park. The unknown suspects had gone into the unlocked building and removed some items and threw them on the ground outside the building. The investigation is ongoing.

At 2:10 p.m., officers responded to a probation and parole violation. Contact was made with a male party at his residence and he was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

At 3:44 p.m., an officer responded to a gas skip complaint. The suspect had left the gas station without paying for $47.00 worth of fuel. Contact was made with the registered owner who thought their credit card had gone through at the gas pump. They returned and paid for the fuel.

At 7:06 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver was found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody for the warrant. He was also cited for operating after revocation.

July 13
At 6:50 a.m., an officer responded to a gas skip complaint. The caller advised a male party had paid for the diesel he pumped but not the gasoline. Investigation is ongoing.

At 7:06 p.m., an officer located a male party walking, who had two active warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

July 14
At 4:51 p.m., an officer located three juveniles inside a local park pavilion. An item was also stolen from inside. The juveniles were interviewed and the investigation is ongoing. Charges of burglary are forthcoming.

At 6:21 p.m., an officer responded to a disorderly conduct complaint at an apartment complex. The caller stated he had observed a male party urinate in the yard. Contact was made with the suspect who admitted to urinating in the yard. He was cited for the violation.
