LeRoy “Pete” Kufahl, age 93, of Merrill, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Pine Crest Nursing Home under Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services. He was born in Brokaw on July 11, 1926 to the late Hubert and Sophie (Kloth) Kufahl. LeRoy married Patricia Wussow on April 24, 1948. She preceded him in death on February 15, 2015.
A memorial service for Pete will be held 11 AM on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Ascension Episcopal Church in Merrill. The Rev. Linda Schmidt will officiate. Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of service also at church. Private family inurnment will be held Thursday.
