The annual July 4th City Fireworks Extravaganza originally planned for 8 p.m. Thursday, July 4, has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 6.
According to city administrator Dave Johnson Wednesday morning, the fireworks contractor has requested the show be rescheduled for Saturday, due to rain and thunderstorms forecasted for Thursday evening.
The fireworks display is set to begin at 8 p.m. Saturday evening, at the Merrill Area Recreation Complex (MARC).
