Melody A. Suwyn, age 65, passed away on June 26, 2019, at Ascension Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill. Melody was born June 27, 1953 in Merrill, daughter of the late Jack and Doris Jaeger. She married Mitchell Suwyn on August 11, 1973. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2015. Melody was currently employed in the Medical Records Department of Marshfield Clinic – Merrill Center. Melody truly enjoyed her job and considered her co-workers her extended family. Melody enjoyed her pet dog and two cats, and going to rummage sales.
Melody is survived by her two children, Misty (Brad) Wirt, Brokaw, and Chad (Andrew Kraeger) Suwyn, Merrill; her sister, Linda (Lloyd) Grawien, Wausau; her mother in law, Joyce Suwyn, Irma; and a brother in law, Terry (Wendy) Suwyn, Irma. Besides her husband and parents, Melody is preceded in death by her father in law, Frederick ‘Fritz’ Suwyn.
A Memorial Service for Melody will begin at 7:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Traci Fick will be the speaker. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com.
