Beverley Jean Willis/Warren, age 86, died of natural causes 6/17/19 in Merrill. She was born on January 20, 1933 to the late Earl & Ethel Mae (Lory) Laura in Clay, NY. She married Marine Corporal, Jack Smith Willis on June 10, 1952 in Euclid, NY. He preceded her in death. Beverley married Harold Warren on March 31, 2016. He preceded her in death. Beverley was an assembly line worker for 23 years at General Electric in Syracuse, NY. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Chittenango, NY. Beverley loved to make things and give them away to cancer patients. She loved planting flowers, traveling the United States with her loved one and life itself. Beverley’s request is for “everyone to do your best at anything you do and to be a good follower of Jesus”. She will be dearly missed.
Beverley is survived by her daughters; Marcia Willis, Oneida, NY, Sharon (Rich) Barker, Merrill, WI, Debra Willis, Central Square, NY, son; Jack Willis Jr., Mexico, NY, sisters; Barbara Harke, Earleen De Rycke, both of Clay, NY, Ethel “Kay” Anderson, Badger, MN, other relatives & friends. Preceded in death by her parents & husbands.
Services for Beverley will be at Bible Presbyterian Church and the date & time to be determined. Graveside services will be at Pine Plains Cemetery sometime in August of 2019.
