Area golfers are invited to participate in the 1st Annual Golf Outing hosted by HAVEN (Household Abuse Victims Emergency Network) on Saturday, June 22 at the Merrill Golf Club.
The format will be a 9 hole, four person team scramble. Shotgun start will be at 2 PM for the first flight of teams. This fundraiser outing will feature a 50/50 raffle plus other prize drawings. Among the prizes are a P.K. (Portable Kitchen) Grill, a Lake of the Torches Getaway Package, an autographed Green Bay Packer football, a Wood Burning Fire Pit Cocktail Table, a Canadian fishing trip to Anderson’s in Manitou Falls, a handmade quilt, a $5,000 insurance policy from DuWayne Kreager Insurance for a ‘hole in one,’ plus many more items.
HAVEN is grateful to the many businesses and individuals who have donated prizes for this event.
All proceeds from this golf outing will support the work of HAVEN to provide advocacy, resources and shelter for adults and children who experience domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse, harassment, stalking and human trafficking.
