The Free Summer Lunch program for kids and teens kicked off its sixth season on Monday, June 17, at Stanges Park.
Sponsored by local churches, free lunch will be offered Monday-Friday through August 30, at the newly renovated park picnic shelter on Third Street. Meals will be served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. daily.
Participating churches are Christ United Methodist Church, Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and St. John Lutheran Church.
