June 3
At 11:15 a.m., a caller reported vandalism incident. Officers located a wall with graffiti on it, with fresh paint. An ongoing investigation is being conducted.

At 1:05 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Probation and Parole office in reference to a male that needed to be taken into custody for a Probation Violation. The male was taken into custody for the Probation Violation and was transported to the Lincoln County Jail.

At 2:44 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Probation and Parole office in reference to a male that needed to be taken into custody for a Probation Violation. The male was taken into custody for the Probation Violation and was transported to the Lincoln County Jail.

At 6:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of West 10th Street in reference to a male who had a warrant through Probation and Parole. Officers located the male and took him into custody for the Probation warrant.

June 4
At 7:48 a.m., officers were requested to check the welfare of a male subject that was believed to be under the influence of some sort of substance. Officers located the male and he was ultimately arrested after the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole placed a hold on him. He was transported to the jail on the probation hold.

At 11:39 a.m., officers attempted to stop a vehicle that was being operated by a male subject who had warrants through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and was also wanted from an earlier domestic incident. When officers attempted to stop the male, he fled from officers. Officers and Deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office pursued the vehicle into Marathon County. The subject eventually pulled over near Wausau and he was taken into custody. The male subject was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun when he was arrested. He was taken to the jail on charges of fleeing, felon in possession of a firearm, a Probation warrant and other charges as it pertained to the previous domestic incident.

At 1:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to a disorderly male subject on S. State St. The suspect was not wanted in the residence, was refusing to leave and has a history of arming himself with knives. Upon arrival the subject became agitated with law enforcement and refused to come out. He armed himself with a knife and alluded to other threats. The Lincoln County Sheriffs Office Special Response Team was requested to respond. Prior to the special response team arriving, the suspect eventually came out unarmed and was taken into custody without incident. The subject was taken to the jail on charges of failure to comply with officers attempt to take a person into custody, domestic disorderly conduct and bail jumping.

At 5:08 p.m., officers were requested to respond to a residence to attempt to locate a male subject that was wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole. Officers responded and the male subject was located and taken into custody for the active warrant for his arrest.

At 8:43 p.m., officers were dispatched to a local motel for a report of a male subject that was causing a disturbance. Officers responded and located the male subject sitting outside. It was found that he had been loud, boisterous and profane inside and outside of the motel. The subject was also found to have been drinking. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and two counts of bail jumping for violating the terms of his open bonds prohibiting the consumption of alcohol.

June 5
At 7:52 a.m., an officer responded to a damage to property complaint. The caller advised two mailboxes had been damaged by a vehicle. No suspect vehicle was located.

June 6
At 9:35 a.m. a fifteen-year old student was cited for juvenile tobacco violation after it was found she had a vaping device at school.

At 12:25 p.m. a caller reported someone stole two gas cans off his porch within the past day. A possible suspect was named.

At 3:01 p.m. a caller reported a male at a store that he knew had a warrant for his arrest. This was confirmed and officers located the man inside the store. The man was informed of the warrant and he began pulling away from the officer and attempted to flee. The man was arrested for the warrant and was additionally charged for resisting an officer.

At 9:13 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop for a speed violation. The officer requested a K9 unit respond. The K9 officer made contact with the driver prior to deploying the K9 and the driver admitted having a marijuana pipe in her purse. No other contraband was located and she was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and warned for speeding.

At 9:45 p.m. a caller reported a male had been at their residence yelling at the residents including vulgarities primarily directed at his ex-girlfriend. It was found the man has a bond condition in which he is to have no contact with the female. It was further reported he had yelled at a child in the house and had shoved the female. The man left the scene prior to officers’ arrival. Additional investigation is warranted and charges may be pending.

June 7
At approximately 2:20 a.m., an officer located a male on the Riverbend Trail on his bike. The officer attempted to make contact with the male and the male continued to bike away from the officer. The male eventually got off of his bike and started to run away from the officer. The male was eventually detained and was taken into custody for a probation warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. Other possible charges could be placed after an investigation is complete.

June 8
At approximately 1:41 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a theft complaint in the 300 block of North Foster Street. A bird house was stolen from the property; an ongoing investigation is being conducted.

At approximately 3:11 a.m., an officer was dispatched to 200 block of West Third Street in reference to a criminal damage to property complaint. A vehicle had damage to the driver side door. An ongoing investigation is occurring.
