Seventy-three straight clay pigeons hit paved the way for Merrill’s 121-109 win over Rhinelander. The Jays nearly shot all perfect scores, scoring 121 points out of a possible 125.
Without the Jays’ leading shooter, Zach Iribarren, Wyatt Koehler would take his spot for the week, shooting a perfect 25. Cameron Stadler followed with a perfect score of his own, hitting all 25 targets. Jesse Pierschalla then shot 24, followed by Nicholas Holz with 24 and Brandon Stolz with 23.
Merrill currently leads the conference with a record of 6-1. The top five shooters in the conference all belong to Merrill. The top five shooters in order are: Zachary Iribarren, Cameron Stadler, Brandon Stolz, Nicholas Holz and Wyatt Koehler.
