A 19-year old Merrill man was arrested Monday evening after a traffic stop on USH 51 in the Town of Bradley just after 10 p.m. During the course of the stop the driver became uncooperative and was arrested for obstructing, he was also cited for driving without a valid license.

A 23-year old Tomahawk woman was arrested for violating terms of her probation Wednesday evening after deputies responded to a disturbance in the Town of Bradley.

A 48 year old Merrill man was arrested Friday afternoon on a criminal traffic charge of second offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Deputies responded to State Rd 64 in the Town of Pine River just after 3:00 PM after 911 callers reported a reckless driver.

A 69-year old Tomahawk man was arrested Sunday evening on a criminal traffic charge of second offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. A deputy responded to the Town of Bradley boat landing Sunday evening to investigate a suspicious vehicle. When the deputy located the vehicle he found the driver had struck a guard rail.

Only two people reported striking deer in the past week. Last Monday morning a Mercer man struck and killed a coyote on US Hwy 51 at Lincoln Dr in the town of Merrill. Later on Monday afternoon a privately owned garbage truck struck a bear before it left the roadway and rolled over on County Rd R near the Lincoln County Landfill.
