Darrel Leon Schreiber, of Gleason, died Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 78 years old. He was born on January 20, 1941, in Gresham, a son of the late Leon and Lucille (Bernarde) Schreiber. He married Carol Anker on March 18, 1961. He was a life member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; children, Jeff (Holly) Siegle of Oak Creek, Ronda (Steve) Wild of Cleo, AL, Alan Schreiber of Deerbrook, Ronald (Jennifer) Schreiber of Gleason, Annette Stone of Rice Lake and Mark (Jessica) Schreiber of Phlox; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Norwell (Darlene) Schreiber of Antigo and Dale (Barb) Schreiber of Deerbrook.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with President Justin Gregersen officiating. Burial will take place in the Town of Summit Cemetery.
