April 6
At 8:39 pm, officers were dispatched to a fight in progress. The caller stated there was a large group of people pounding on their neighbors’ door and they thought one male party had a handgun in his hand. Prior to officers arriving on scene, all parties fled on foot and in vehicles. Contact was made with three individuals who were in the area. They stated they were the victims of the incident but refused to give officers any information about the incident or who was involved. Investigation is ongoing.

April 7
At 1:44 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for operating the wrong way on a one way street. The driver displayed signs of intoxication, was placed through field sobriety tests and failed. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense.

At 3:40 pm, an officer was dispatched to a retail theft complaint. The caller advised a male juvenile had stolen a bottle of alcohol from the store. The juvenile was later located and was cited for retail theft and underage possession of alcohol.

April 8
It was reported that a homeowner came home and discovered that there was damage to the back door to the residence. In examining the damage, it was believed that there was an attempt to break into the residence which was unsuccessful. The investigation is ongoing.

At 6:18 pm, officers were requested to respond to a disorderly conduct complaint in the area of Pine Ridge Ave. It was stated that there was an accidental “door-ding” done upon a vehicle in a parking lot of a local business, that resulted in the receiver of the door-ding, to ding back with their door repeatedly while yelling obscenities. The retaliating door dinger fled the scene and is under investigation.

April 10
At 4:45 pm, officers were dispatched to a wanted person complaint. The suspect was currently at work per the caller. Contact was made with the male party and the warrant was confirmed. The male was arrested and transported to the jail.

At 7:27 pm, officers were dispatched to a disorderly conduct complaint. The caller advised their upstairs neighbor had come to their door and was banging on it loudly. When the caller answered the door, the neighbor began yelling and cursing at her. Contact was made with the neighbor who ran inside his residence. He was informed officers would be referring a charge of disorderly conduct to the District Attorney.

April 11
At 8:06 am, officers were dispatched to the office of Probation and Parole to take a male party into custody on a probation violation. The male was arrested and transported to the jail.

At 1:27 pm, an officer responded to a vandalism complaint. The caller advised there was spray paint on a building near a local exercise area. There were two locations where this was located. No suspects at this time.

April 12
At 11:17pm officers responded to a noise complaint in the 1000 block of East Main St. Upon arrival it was determined it was an underage alcohol party. Several juveniles and young adults were contacted. Those determined to have been drinking were cited and released to their parents.

April 13
At 9:05 am an officer responded to a medical emergency in which a male party was reported to be down on the ground in a parking lot. Upon arrival the male was determined to be heavily intoxicated, which was in violation of an open bond. The male was treated and later arrested for bail jumping.

At 10:11pm officers responded to a report of a disorderly conduct incident in which a woman could be heard loudly yelling at a male party in a house. Upon arrival it was determined an intoxicated female had been yelling at a male that was visiting. The female involved was on open bond with a no drink rule. She was arrested for bail jumping.

April 14
At 8:00am officers responded to a report of a suspicious person who appeared confused and wandering aimlessly. This person had eventually entered a home to which officers then responded to. The individual was checked by medical staff as they appeared to be under the influence of something. While being checked out by medical staff, it was found that this person was in the possession of brass knuckles. It was found that the individual did not have a permit to carry a concealed weapon and they were taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail for carrying a concealed weapon.

At 7:16pm an officer conducted a traffic stop for a speeding violation. The driver of the vehicle was found to have an active warrant for failure to pay citations through Clark County to which was confirmed. The female was taken into custody for the warrant and was transported to the Lincoln County Jail.
