T.B Scott Library to host ‘Spring Refresh-Taking Care of you’

T.B. Scott Free Library will be hosting a two-session workshop, “Spring Refresh: Taking Care of You!” on Saturdays, April 6 and 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

These classes are free and open to the public.“Stress is a reality for many of us in the fast-paced world we live in, but there are things we can do to take care of ourselves and better manage our stress levels in a healthy way,” says Debbie Moellendorf, Positive Youth Development and Health and Well Being Educator with UW-Madison, Division of Extension-Lincoln County. “During this two-session workshop, participants will learn and practice strategies and skills to manage their stress which will help them take better care of their overall health.”
“Taking Care of You” is a research-based program that offers practical strategies and experiences to help individuals deal with the stress in their lives. This course will help participants manage life’s challenges in healthy ways and allow them to take better care of themselves and their overall health.
If you are interested in participating for the “Spring Refresh : Taking Care of You” Program, please call the T. B. Scott Free Library to register – 715-536-7191. A minimum of 10 participants are required to offer the program and attendance is limited to 20 participants. Light snacks will be provided by area businesses.
