Merrill Police Reports
At 9:13 a.m., officers responded to a report of a female that had been assaulted. Contact was made with the involved parties and it was learned the involved male had physically assaulted the female resulting in his arrest.
At 11:29 a.m., officers responded to the office of probation and parole to take a female into custody for a probation violation. She was taken into custody and transported to the jail.
At 6:24 p.m., an officer responded to a theft complaint. The caller had personal items stolen at work last week. Investigation is ongoing.
At 3:18 p.m., officers responded to an address to take a male party into custody on a probation violation. Contact was made with the male who was arrested and transported to the jail.
Officers responded to a report of a battery that occurred in the 700 block of State St. It was reported a male party pulled up in a car and got out and struck another party in the face. Officers were able to determine a battery had occurred and located the suspect who was arrested.
At 12:45 p.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 1:23 p.m. a caller reported finding damage to her vehicle after the snow had melted off of it. This occurred sometime over winter and it unknown how or when it occurred.
At 2:18 p.m. information was received that a male with a warrant was at a residence. Officers went to the location and located the man in the garage. He was arrested for the warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 4:21 p.m. a male was located in the Sheriff’s Office parking lot that had a warrant for his arrest through Oneida County. While the warrant was being confirmed the man attempted to destroy some methamphetamine he was in possession of. He was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, the Oneida County warrant and probation violation.
