A 35-year old Hatley man was arrested Monday evening after a traffic stop. Just after 10 p.m. a deputy stopped a vehicle on USH 51 after deputies from Marathon County requested they attempt to locate it after a domestic incident in their county. The man was located as a passenger in the vehicle and brought to the county line.

A deputy stopped a wrong way driver on USH 51 Tuesday evening. The driver was cited for the offense.

On Thursday, a cell 911 caller reported a wrong way driver southbound in the northbound lane on USH 51 from the two lane portion of the highway at the county line, deputies were unable to locate that vehicle.

A 35-year old Rosholt man received minor injuries Thursday afternoon following a one vehicle rollover in the Town or Birch on USH 51, near County Rd J.

Russell Firefighters and a deputy responded Thursday evening to a structure fire in the Town of Russell. Just after 5 p.m. a caller reported a garage on fire at a residence on Hay Meadow Drive. When firefighters arrived the garage was fully engulfed in flames.

A 17-year old Merrill man was arrested Thursday evening after deputies investigated a report of a disturbance in the Town of Pine River. The suspect was located and taken into custody on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.

A 36-year old Merrill man was arrested Friday evening on a warrant charge. The man called deputies to his home in the Town of Schley to report suspicious activity. During contact it was learned the man was wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for violating the terms of his probation.

A 79-year old Merrill man was injured after a single vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in the Town of Merrill. The crash occurred at the intersection of County Rd JJ and Hillside Drive at 1:50 p.m.. The man refused medical transport.

A 34-year old Merrill man was taken into custody Saturday evening after a crash in the Town of Pine River. The man was attempting to turn onto northbound USH 51 from State Rd 64, when his vehicle went up the snowbank and became stuck. The man was cited for a first offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

A 20-year old Merrill man was cited early Sunday morning for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. A deputy found a vehicle in the ditch on County Rd W south of State Rd 64 at 3:50 a.m. The driver was cited for the first offense while his two 20 year old male passengers, both from Merrill, were cited for underage drinking.

A 26-year old Minocqua man was arrested Sunday evening on a warrant charge. A deputy stopped the man on USH 51 north of County Rd D at 8 p.m. for a registration issue. A check showed he was wanted by the Oneida County Sheriff for contempt of court.

For the second week in a row, no one reported striking a deer in Lincoln County.
