Mayor Woellner to discuss “Merrill-50 years out”

Live Sustainable, Lincoln County will host their March program on Thursday, March 14th at 6 PM in the Assembly Room (room 255) on the upper level of the Lincoln County Service Center, 801 North Sales Street. Mayor Derek Woellner will be speaking on “Merrill – 50 years Out” and how he envisions what a green city might look like for its citizens.

Live Sustainable, Lincoln County is a non-profit organization that works to help people lead more environmentally friendly, fair and economical lives, for the good of their families, their community, and the planet. What is sustainable living? Our definition is: A life that is deeply satisfying, fulfilling, and appealing because it is socially, environmentally, and economically responsible. It’s about making changes and informed choices, even small ones that improve the quality of our lives and of the planet for future generations. Paired with the mayor’s role as chief executive officer, we thought it would be informative to hear what Mayor Derek Woellner has to say about a possible future vision for our city.

This workshop is free and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend this workshop. Membership to Live Sustainable Lincoln County is not required to attend their educational workshops.
