February 23
At 2:23 am, officers responded to a domestic incident. The caller advised a female party next door was yelling for someone to call the police. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with an intoxicated male and female who were arguing over a cell phone. The female chose to stay elsewhere for the evening so no further arguments would ensue.

February 24
At 2:05 am, a caller reported a vehicle had left the roadway becoming stuck in a snowbank in front of the middle school. It was further reported two men were attempting to remove the vehicle and both appeared intoxicated. The responding officer noted the driver displayed characteristics of intoxication. The driver agreed to perform field sobriety and as a result of those tests was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

At 7:25 pm, someone reported finding two capsules concealed in a pair of socks. She turned them over to the PD.

Officers assisted 24 motorists throughout the day that had become stuck due to weather conditions.

February 26
At 1:43 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The suspect vehicle left the roadway in response to the officer’s emergency lights and parked on a snowmobile trail. The passenger of the vehicle was identified and taken into custody for a probation violation. The driver of the vehicle was identified and taken into custody for operating while under the influence after roadside field sobriety tests were completed with the driver.

February 27
At 3:13 pm, an officer was dispatched to a theft complaint. The caller advised there was medication stolen from their residence. Investigation is ongoing.

February 28
At 10:25 am, an officer responded to a disorderly conduct complaint. The caller stated a juvenile was acting disorderly and caused damage to a door. Contact was made with the juvenile who admitted to causing the damage. Investigation is ongoing.

At 3:21 pm, officers were dispatched to the office of Probation and Parole to take a male party into custody for a probation violation. Officers arrived on scene and placed the male party in custody for the probation violation. He was transported to the jail.

At 3:59 pm, officers were dispatched to a vehicle that was stuck on the railroad tracks. Officers arrived on scene and located the vehicle that had turned onto the railroad tracks by mistake instead of the next roadway. Officers and two civilians assisted in pushing the vehicle off of the railroad tracks and back onto the roadway.

March 2
4:55pm an officer responded to a report of possible drug activity at a local restaurant. It was reported a male and female were acting suspicious and people were meeting with them briefly. Contact was made with both parties and they were questioned about the suspicious behavior. It was later learned the male party involved provided false information when he was asked to identify himself. Charges are forth coming on the involved male party.

5:37pm officers responded to a report of a large hay bale in the lane of traffic on Center Ave. Four Officers utilized 2 chains and a ratchet strap to get the 800 lb bail back into the back of the pickup truck.

9:34pm officers responded to the 1900 block of River St for a report of a domestic incident. It was reported the involved male party had been physical with the female. After investigating the incident the male was arrested and faces charges involving the incident.
