This afgternoon, the Eagles Club will host Lincoln County Humane Society’s 1st Annual Soup & Chili Cookoff, beginning at 4 PM. Those interested in participating will be asked for a $2 donation per soup and/or chili entry, with a minimum of one crockpot per entry. Soups and/or chili’s must be warm upon arrival and can be delivered between 3:30 and 3:45 this afternoon. Extension cords will be available.
Prizes will be awarded for first and second place and for the most creative soup and/or chili name. Prepared soups and chili’s will be judged by those in attendance, tickets will be available for $8 at the door. In addition, raffles will be on hand as well as a car wash and bake sale.
