Crossman named PRMS January Youth Optimist of the Month

Madison Crossman has been selected Prairie River Youth Optimist of the Month for the month of January, nominated by teacher Becky Rindt.

“Madi is an outstanding student who goes above and beyond on a daily basis,” Rindt explains. “She always has a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. Doing well academically is very important to Madi, she wants to learn as much as possible and will always ask questions to clarify her learning if she needs to. Madi also demonstrates great citizenship skills both inside and outside of the classroom. She is kind, thoughtful, helpful to others and will always choose to do what is right. Madi is a well-rounded student who demonstrates great leadership qualities.”

Daughter of Jason Crossman and Sarah Schreiner, Madison is involved in many school activities including cross country, track, Web leaders and Excel”A”Rated art. Outside of school Madison is involved in Make a Difference Day and she shovels snow for her neighbors. Madison has been previously awarded with Student of the Quarter, Citizen of the Year and Honor Roll High Honors. Madison lists her personal qualities and talents as; good at art, tap dancing and being a kind person and loving animals.
