The Knights of Columbus will hold their 15th annual fishing contest on Saturday, Feb. 9, on Lake Alexander.
The event, in memory of Mike Duginski, will be headquartered at Rock Island Resort, where registration opens at 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded in four categories: perch, walleye, northern and panfish. Special prizes will be awarded to children 12 and under.
Other activities include a brat fry by Merrill Cub Scout Pack 502, door prizes and raffles. Bring a non-perishable food item and receive a raffle ticket.
There is a $20 entry fee. Proceeds will support the After the Bell program and other charities.
