4-H club raises $1,500 for Honor Flight

The Gleason-based Prairie River Eagles 4-H Club made a donation on Dec. 31 to The Never Forgotten Honor Flight.

Program co-founder Jim Campbell accepted the donation of $1,500, enough to send three veterans on the Washington DC trip. Money was raised from a rabies vaccination clinic, a flower basket sale and private donations, including two members donating $100 each from their fair pigs.

In 2019, the Club members would like to raise enough money to send four veterans on the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.
