Stadler named PRMS Youth Optimist of the Month

Hunter Stadler, son of Andrea Dart and Craig Stadler of Merrill, was selected PRMS Youth Optimist of the Month of October 2018.

Hunter was nominated by Kelly Kraegenbrink; “Hunter has been actively involved in Student Council for the last three years. He is a student that stands out because he is ready to volunteer and be of service,” Kraegenbrink explains. “I can count on Hunter to help with all projects and attends all our meetings. Recently Hunter attended the Highway Clean Up, where he was one of two 8th graders who attended.

“Hunter has also been chosen as a WEB leader for his 8th grde year, where he is a role model and helps incoming 6th graders transition to the middle school. Hunter is being nominated because of his outstanding character in and out of the classroom. Prairie River Middle School is proud of this young man and sees him making a difference in the lives of others.”

In addition to being a member of the PRMS Student Council and 8th grade WEB leader, Hunter is a three-year member of the Forensics Team and two-year members of the PRMS Track Team. As a 6th grader, Hunter received Gold honors for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA, Student of the Quarter honors as a 7th grader and received a School Store Certificate of Appreciation as a 6th grader.

Outside of school, Hunter is club treasurer for the Merrill Busy Bees 4H Club and has been since 2016. He is a Lincoln County Fair Volunteer, working the Dairyland Stand and Raffle Booth and a Make a Difference Day Volunteer. Hunter also enjoys hunting and fishing and attends Trinity Lutheran Church where is he currently taking confirmation classes.
