Brendan Root is a senior defenseman for the Merrill/Wausau East Bluejack hockey team, playing his fourth year on varsity. In the fall Brendan played his last season with the Merrill soccer team where he played defense. When not playing sports Brendan enjoys spending time with his friends and working out. Son of Kristin and Kevin Root, Brendan currently has a 3.4 GPA and following his graduation next spring plans on attending St. Norbert College.
