The Merrill AmericInn presented a donation Monday of nearly $600, along with toys and gifts, to the Merrill Fire Department’s Tree of Hope.
Gifts collected through the Tree of Hope will be distributed to Lincoln County families in need this Saturday, Dec. 15. The Tree of Hope is a function of Merrill Firefighters Charities.
In its third year collecting for the Tree of Hope, AmericInn hosted Santa Claus Friday night, taking donations during the event. AmericInn started their Tree of Hope collection around Thanksgiving this year, but anyone is welcome to drop off donations at the hotel throughout the year.
