Quartetto Gelato, often referred to as the “Ice Cream Quartet,” is coming to Merrill on Sunday, Dec. 2, appearing at the Merrill High School Auditorium at 3 p.m. as part of the Merrill Area Concert Association’s current series. They will be bringing The Magic of Christmas as they perform holiday music in a program inspired by a full range of emotions, reminding you of all the joy that this time of year brings.
Quartetto Gelato’s music ranges from secular to sacred, classical to popular, traditional to contemporary, taking you round the globe as the concert progresses. With 25 years behind them and an impressive reputation of various awards, this dazzling ensemble has enchanted critics worldwide. The upcoming concert will highlight the group’s eclectic multi-instrument mastery and their theatrical stage presence with a dash of relaxed humor.
Attendance at all Merrill Area Concert Association performances is open to members only.
