On Monday, Nov. 26, the Merrill boys basketball team will host Meet the Jays Night at the MHS field house. All community members especially kids are invited to come out and meet the boys basketball players and participate in contests.
The event will start with a pregame cookout from 5-6 p.m. and continue with an intersquad scrimmage, dunk contest and three point contest put on by the varsity players. The kids will have an opportunity to get into the action as well with a free throw contest to win cakes, cookies and cupcakes, as well as a half court shot contest to win pizza gift cards.
Following those activities there will be a poster signing and a gift basket raffle which will conclude the event.
The Merrill basketball association hopes to see you there and thanks you for the support of the program.
