In early September, Dedicated Motors owners Al Reinke and Dani Boehm settled into their new location at 424 E. First St. which is the former site of One Way Collision, which also recently relocated to a new facility on East Main Street.
Since establishing Dedicated Motors in the summer of 2017, business has boomed for Boehm and Reinke, leading them to pursue a larger site in the city.
“I’ve been building custom cars for 22 years,” Al explains. “Eventually we got so busy we decided to make a go of it with opening up our own business. Then the longer we were in business, the more of a demand we received for us to expand into a full-service automotive service and repair shop, aside from custom cars and engines.”

The couple found just what they were looking for at the East First Street location. Their new shop (7,500 square feet) is not only nearly double the size of their previous location at N868 CTH K (4,000 square feet) but is also centrally located. The additional space has since made it possible to expanded their business to an even split of maintenance/custom service. Since opening, the couple has also leased the adjacent former Fun Stuff building, which they soon plan to utilize in offering UTV and truck accessories, as well as opening a small sport/muscle car dealership.
“We have been kept pretty busy since we moved in,” Reinke adds. “I would guess we have doubled our general automotive service and maintenance work since we opened. Having a fully staffed shop able to accommodate same day service in most cases, certainly helps. Our customers really appreciate that.”
In terms of the general automotive service aspect, Dedicated Motors is staffed and equipped to handle most any project or demand a customer may have, from brakes and oil changes to four-wheel alignments and engine rebuilds,
“We are one of the only shops in town that offers four-wheel alignments so those have been in pretty high demand,” Reinke said.
Additional services offered include free one-hour diagnostics, free warning light checks and code reads and full-service auto detailing. As another benefit to customers, Dedicated Motors offers 10% discount to all current, discharged and retired US military veterans.
