Merrill Police reports

October 19
8:03 a.m.- A male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of Probation & Parole.
11:33 a.m.- A business reported someone had damaged the lock mechanism on the business door sometime in the past few days.
11:35 a.m.- A male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of Probation & Parole.
11:59 a.m.- A caller reported someone had stolen a camera from her vehicle sometime in the past week.
3:45 p.m.- A male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of Probation & Parole.
5:10 p.m.- An officer responded to a residence after receiving information that a man with several felony warrants was at the residence. The officer could smell the odor of marijuana emanating from inside the residence. The tenant became argumentative and began yelling and swearing outside the residence and she was arrested for disorderly conduct. A search warrant was obtained and drug paraphernalia was located inside the residence. The female was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
5:18 p.m.- A crash was reported on E. 7th St. at Cleveland St. One of the drivers was found to have a warrant for his arrest through Oneida County and was arrested for that warrant.

October 20
5:20 p.m.- A caller reported a driver speeding causing the vehicle to drive up onto the sidewalk on two occasions as the driver attempted to negotiate curves. Contact was made with the driver and he was cited for reckless driving.
7:42 p.m.- A caller reported loud music within an apartment complex. The officer could hear the music outside of the complex. Contact was made with the tenant and he was warned to turn the music down. Approximately 40 minutes later the officer received a return call that the music was turned up again. The officer again could hear the music from outside of the complex. The tenant admitted he had turned the music back up after the officer left the first time. He was cited for violation of the noise ordinance.

October 21
9:59 a.m.- A caller reported finding someone had shot an arrow into his camper sometime since the previous afternoon.
