Merrill Area Public Schools received $5,000 to assist in purchasing a new trailer for band equipment.

Schmidt-Manecke-Donner Post No. 1638 Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States received $2,500 to assist in construction of the new Northwoods Veterans Post in Merrill that will feature meeting rooms, an education center, wellness room, fitness center, and more.

Merrill Community Homeless Center Inc. received $2,500 to go towards the opening of the Habitat Home in Merrill.

“We’re proud to support these local organizations that have such a profound, positive impact here in our community,” said Clay Peterson, mBank Executive Vice President. “By supporting these programs, we are living our core value of giving back to the communities we serve. We look forward to seeing the opportunities this will bring to so many families and businesses.”

“I’m grateful we are able to give back to so many deserving groups,” said Clyde Nelson, mBank Senior Vice President, Lincoln County Executive. “They all help make the Greater Merrill Community a wonderful place to live and work.”
