Recently the Nite Rider HDMC stopped by the Merrill Fire Department to present a check in the amount of $3,303 and numerous toys which was raised during their “Tots Need Toys” event held Sept. 22 at the MARC.
This was the 20th year for the Nite Riders “Tots Need Toys” event. For the past several years the Nite Riders have been donating the proceeds from their event to the Merrill Fire Department “Tree of Hope” program which assists families in Lincoln County during the Christmas season.
It is with great support from individuals, businesses and organizations that continue to make the “Tree of Hope” program a success. Last year the program assisted more than 250 families with 550 children in Lincoln County.
