mBank is pleased to announce that Matthew Anderson has joined the team as Assistant Vice President Mortgage Loan Officer at its newest branch office location in Merrill.
After serving as a United States Marine, Anderson comes to mBank with over nine years of customer service experience of which the past five he spent as a Mortgage Banker, Branch Manager, and Universal Banker with another local financial institution.
In his new role at mBank, Anderson is responsible for originating and helping service the homebuyer and homeowner throughout the loan process.
“Matthew brings a wealth of knowledge gained both from his time in banking and experiences beyond the financial industry,” said Clay Peterson, mBank Executive Vice President. “I look forward to the contributions he will make as we continue to grow and enhance the services we provide to our customers.”
Anderson served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 to 2009. He holds an Associates of Arts and Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County and is in the process of completing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Anderson is an avid sports fan and loves to spend time fishing. He and wife of 11 years, Samantha, have lived in the Wausau area for nine years.
