Downtown Merrill presents Chili Blast 2018

Spice up your day with a walking chili-tasting tour of downtown Merrill on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Chili Blast will feature 10 chili cooks offering their own unique recipes. In addition, new this year will be fall vendors.

Featured chili cooks are Kathy & Cal’s Club 64 at Courtside Furniture, Angie Hendrickson at Johnson’s Gifts, Michelle Odegard at 7 Oaks Bodyworks and Massage, Craig Grefe at Ye Olde Sweet Shoppe, Kurt Wendt at Ace Hardware, Corey Nowak at Masonic Lodge, Jeff Hinz at Kindhearted Home Care, Dawn and Don Swan at First Street Coffee Station, Ed Hoffmaster at Wave’s Full Service Hair Salon, The Painted Door and Matt & Jen Seliger at the green space next to The Painted Door. Vendors include cheese from the Milk Board at St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, honey from Matt & Jen Seliger at the green space next to The Painted Door, maple syrup from Ray Melander at Klug’s Country Gold and The Polka-Dotted Pie at the old Book World building.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at the Merrill Chamber of Commerce, or purchase your ticket the day of the event at the registration booth in front of Ace Hardware. Limited tickets are available.
