Marlowe named Bluejacks head coach

On Tuesday evening Wausau East Activities Director Michael Pernsteiner along with Merrill Activities Director John Miller, announced Chris Marlowe as the new head coach of the Merrill/Wausau East Bluejacks hockey team.

Marlowe is a 1986 Merrill High School graduate who has continued to be involved with the development of area hockey for nearly 30 years.

“We are excited to have Coach Marlowe work with our student-athletes this winter and feel he has a solid long-term vision for moving our program forward into the future,” Pernsteiner said. “His experience at all levels of hockey, from the youth through high school was key to our selection of Chris as the next leader of our hockey co-op.  We are looking forward to working with Chris to as he builds and strengthens hockey at Merrill and Wausau East high schools.”
