Bikers, ATV/UTV’ers and motorists alike are welcome to join the 1st Annual “Raise the Flag” Ride in support of the Northwoods Veterans Post on Saturday, July 7.
Organized and led by Dennis Fick, co-owner of DAT Bar, bikers are encouraged to meet at DAT Bar Saturday morning as the day-long motorcycle ride is slated for a 10 a.m. departure.
Those interested in participating in the ATV/UTV ride are encouraged to meet at Chris and Karen’s Hub Inn (at the intersection of STH 17 and CTH C) Saturday morning as well. ATV/UTV ride departure time is also set for 10 a.m.
All proceeds will be donated to support the construction and maintenance of the Northwoods Veterans Post, currently under construction at the intersection of Sixth and Johnson streets in Merrill.
Festivities on the day will include 50/50 raffles, dice and poker runs and more.
Poker run cards are available at Chris and Karen’s Hub Inn, The Boar’s Nest of Gleason and DAT Bar as of Friday, June 29.
