The Gleason Community Club recently donated $1,100 to the Town of Russell Volunteer Fire Department. Pictured is Dorothy Gennrich of the Community Club handing the check to Assistant Chief Jeff Karau. The Gleason Community Club holds various activities and fundraisers throughout the year including the Winter Ice Oval Races and the Hunters Ball, with a goal of giving back to the community. The Town of Russell Fire Department will be using the donation to purchase new firefighting gear. The Town of Russell Fire Department Proudly Protects the townships of Birch, Harrison, Parrish, Russell, Schley, Summit, and the Lincoln Hills School Complex.
