Congratulations to the Musicians-Of-The-Month for April at Prairie River Middle School; Laney Zuelsdorff and Alissa Kracht. Both Alissa and Laney were chosen for their great strides they have made this year in band. Laney is an alto and bari saxophone player and Alissa plays both tenor and bari-saxophone. When the going gets tough these two young ladies step up, face the challenges, and continue to work until they are successful. Their perseverance and tenacity have been a vital part of the band and proof that practice and hard work does lead to success. Look for Laney and Alissa, along with all of the Prairie River Middle School Band students, in their upcoming Jazz Concert on May 19 at Normal Park and May 24 for the Scholarship Concert in the PRMS auditorium.
