Medicare 101 and free ice cream social at Riverside Athletic Club

Riverside Athletic Club has announced that they will be hosting a free Longevity Stick class followed by an Informational Session on the Medicare program along with an Ice Cream Social at their facility at 500 S. Center Ave., Merrill, on Thursday, May 17 starting at 9 a.m.

“We are inviting the community to this free class and Medicare 101 session,” says Becci Simon, manager at Riverside. “We know with all the new changes in the insurance programs, many people have questions about their benefits including a membership to Riverside that would be paid for if they are on the Medicare program and meet the guidelines.

“We are inviting anyone in our area to come out and join us on May 17 to learn more about the Medicare program and how it can benefit you with a membership to Riverside.”

Riverside Athletic Club is partnering with Mary Klug of Klug Financial Solutions who will be giving the Medicare 101 talk. Mary will also be hosting several “Ask the Expert” events at Riverside. Anyone who has questions about Medicare or United Healthcare are encouraged to come and talk to Mary at any one of these information sessions that will be held on June 8, July 13 and Aug. 10 from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

To learn more about the session being offered on May 17, please call Riverside Athletic Club at 715-536-2481.
