Deputies spent most of the weekend assisting motorists during the snow storm. The highway department worked to keep main roads clear, however; many were still labeled as ice covered and hazardous by deputies throughout the weekend. In total deputies responded to just over a dozen calls to vehicles related to the storm to include 10 vehicles in the ditch, seven motorist assists and one property damage crash.

Four people reported striking deer this past week.
