Merrill Police reports

April 2
4:18 p.m.- A caller reported someone had struck her vehicle while it was parked at her place of employment. The person who struck her vehicle did not report the crash.
6:08 p.m.- A caller reported her ex-fiancé came to her residence attempting to take custody of the child they share. There is nothing currently in place through the court in terms of visitation/custody. The male pushed the caller at one point after she refused to allow him to leave with the child as well as yelling, swearing and calling the female derogatory names. The male was spoken to and was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.

April 3
7:52 a.m.- A caller reported someone struck his vehicle while he was inside of a store. The striking vehicle left the scene without reporting the crash.
4:02 p.m.- A male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of Probation & Parole.

April 4
2:33 p.m.- An officer responded to the Lincoln County Jail to serve a warrant for an inmate who was going to be released.

April 5
8:42 a.m.- Officers were requested by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections to take a male subject into custody for a probation violation. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.
9:31 a.m.- Officers were requested by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections to take a female subject into custody for a probation violation. The female was taken into custody and transported to the jail.
2:49 p.m.- Officers were dispatched to a residence for a report of drug activity taking place at the residence. During the course of the investigation, a female subject was located that had an active warrant for her arrest through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. The female was taken into custody on the warrant and transported to the jail. The drug matter was unfounded.

April 6
9:08 a.m.- An officer investigated a report of a hit and run in the 300 block of East 1st Street which likely occurred the evening prior.
3:10 p.m.- An officer investigated a report of a reckless driver near the 1200 block of North Sales Street. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

April 7
7:56 a.m.- A caller reported she received notice from a store that her order was ready to be picked up. The caller had not ordered anything. Contact was made with the store and somebody had picked up the item. Further investigation is forthcoming.
8:28 p.m.- A caller reported a male was smoking marijuana at a residence. Contact was made with the male and officers could smell the odor of marijuana in the residence. A marijuana pipe was seized and the man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
9:36 p.m.- A male reported he had been battered by three males a week prior while walking home from a tavern. The man was not going to report the matter but a friend had talked him in to doing so. The officer informed the caller to report the matter when he was sober, if he wished to be a victim. The man stated he would consider doing so when sober.
11:37 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. K9 Eros was deployed to conduct a drug sniff of the vehicle and indicated a positive alert. The driver was found to have a marijuana pipe with marijuana in his pocket. He was cited for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 8
11:26 a.m.- A caller reported sometime over the weekend someone entered his unlocked truck and stole tools.
12:12 p.m.- An officer investigated a minor crash in a parking lot,
