The Merrill Lions, with Polly Schneider as coordinator, hosted a “Strides” Zumba event for diabetes awareness at Trinity Lutheran School.
The 43 attendees donated $5 to the Wisconsin Lions Camp at Rosholt. The Lions camp provides a free-of-charge camping experience to kids from Wisconsin who are visually impaired, hard of hearing, intellectually disabled, autistic or diabetic.
The Merrill Lions Club thanks Polly Schneider for organizing the event, Trinity Lutheran School for hosting, instructors and the participants who raised money for this worthwhile event.
